Bio

Haley Dennis graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 with her Bachelor’s Degree in English-Writing, and from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2016, with a Certificate in Energy Law.

Prior to law school, she began developing her skill-set in the oil and gas industry, cutting her teeth at a metro land company, where she reviewed ownership reports, organized due diligence projects, completed lease purchase reports, and helped construct and review complex lease exchanges. Prior to and during law school, she interned with a local title law firm, where she developed a taste for and proficiency in oil and gas title examination. During the summer of 2015, she interned in the Central Texas Land group at Chesapeake Energy Corporation, where she excelled in maintaining owner relations, maintenance and monitoring of HBP leases, and the planning of horizontal well proposals across dense, metropolitan areas. Haley’s excitement for the oil and gas industry and title examination informed her decision to continue to the practice of title examination with an experienced metro law firm. During her three years with this firm, she honed her oil and gas title examination skills, while also developing new, related skills in abstracting, surface title, title insurance, estate planning, deed preparation, and probate. These professional experiences have allowed Haley to bring a wide range of skills, understanding, and passion for oil and gas title examination to Ball Morse Lowe, where she focuses her practice on drilling and division order title opinions in various regions.

Outside of the office, Haley has demonstrated her passion for involvement in the community as the President of the McClain County Bar Association from 2017 through 2018, and as the Secretary of the Purcell Rotary Club from 2017 to 2019. She enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with her husband and pets.
